CD and DVD Packaging Only
You already have the discs. Bison Disc sells CD and DVD packaging on its own, so you can order jackets, wallets, digipaks, or mailers printed with your artwork and pair them with discs you already have or plan to burn yourself.
This is the practical choice for reordering packaging against existing disc stock, for teams that duplicate in-house, and for anyone who wants to handle assembly on their own schedule. All five styles print in full color on 15-point paperboard and ship without a disc.
Proofs before we print. No hidden fees. 100% satisfaction guarantee. Same-day shipping available on eligible orders.

Jackets Only for Lightweight CD and DVD Packaging
Jackets, also called sleeves, are the simplest and most affordable style we offer. They print in full color on durable paperboard and fold around the disc with no plastic shell.
This style works well when shipping weight and cost matter more than heavy protection: merch table releases, promotional giveaways, conference handouts, and anything going out in volume. Jackets ship flat or pre-folded, ready for you to insert your own discs.
4-Panel Wallets Only for Extra Printable Space
A 4-panel wallet gives you more room for artwork, lyrics, or instructions than a jacket, while still skipping the plastic case. The bifold design includes a secure disc pocket, so your disc slides in and stays put during handling and shipping.
It's a strong fit for single-disc projects that need the packaging to carry more information than a plain sleeve allows: training materials, presentations, small business handouts, and reorders against existing disc stock. A second pocket for a two-disc set is available on request.
6-Panel Wallets Only for Multi-Disc Projects
A 6-panel wallet uses a trifold design, which adds two more printable panels than a 4-panel. Each panel gives you room for cover art, disc-specific labeling, or extended liner notes.
The extra panels also make room for more than one disc pocket, so a 6-panel suits double albums, bonus disc sets, and multi-part training courses where the discs are already produced and only the packaging is missing.
4-Panel Digipaks Only for a Premium Presentation
A 4-panel digipak pairs printed paperboard with a snap-in plastic tray, which gives a project a more finished look than a jacket or wallet. Since these ship without a disc, they suit anyone reordering shells to match discs duplicated elsewhere or produced in an earlier run.
Digipaks are also the more eco-friendly choice among these styles, since most of the package is recyclable paperboard rather than plastic. Bands, filmmakers, and businesses tend to pick this style when the packaging needs to carry as much visual weight as the content inside it.
4-Panel Mailers Only for Direct Mail and Shipping
4-panel mailers are built to USPS specifications, with a secure slot that holds a disc in place through transit. Because they match the shape requirements for automated mail processing, they qualify for automated letter rates, which reduces postage on large campaigns.
Ordering mailers without discs is common for direct mail where the discs are duplicated separately or added at a fulfillment step later. These print in full color on durable paperboard at 5x7.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a jacket and a wallet?
A jacket is a slim sleeve with front and back artwork space. A wallet adds folded panels and a disc pocket, which gives you more room for artwork, lyrics, credits, photos, instructions, and brand messaging.
What is the difference between a wallet and a digipak?
A wallet holds the disc in a paperboard pocket, while a digipak has a clear plastic tray attached to the paperboard. The tray gives the disc a secure snap-in placement and a more retail-style presentation.
Does this packaging include a disc?
No. All five styles on this page ship without a disc, so you can pair them with CDs or DVDs you already have or plan to duplicate separately.
Why would I order packaging without a disc?
Because it separates the two decisions. Order packaging now for disc stock you already have, duplicate content in-house on your own equipment, or handle assembly on your own schedule rather than ours.
How many discs does each style hold?
Jackets, 4-panel wallets, and 4-panel digipaks are built for a single disc. A 6-panel wallet has room for more than one pocket, and additional pockets can be added to other styles on request.
Can I print artwork on every panel?
Yes, though the printable area depends on the style you choose. Wallets and digipaks give you multiple panels for cover art, interior designs, track lists, credits, photos, QR codes, and marketing copy.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum is 25 packages, and orders run up to 5,000.
How fast can I get my packaging?
Economy production ships in approximately 10 to 12 business days after approvals. Faster 8-day, 5-day, 3-day, and 1-day options are available, along with same-day shipping when we have all approvals before 10 a.m. ET.
