Replicate or Duplicate?

Disc Duplication

Duplicated discs are also known as burned discs. We take your files/master disc and copy them (duplicate) onto high-grade Verbatim recordable CDR or DVDR. Your artwork is then printed directly onto these discs.

This is the usual manufacturing process for quantities less than 300, it is also available for higher quantities if you need a very fast production schedule. Today 90% of all CDs manufactured in the USA are Duplicated.

Disc Replication

Replicated discs (CDs and DVDs) are also known as pressed discs and are manufactured from raw materials. A glass master is made from your original audio or video files. Then stampers produce an exact replica from the glass master via injection molding to embed your audio or video. Replication is a longer manufacturing process.

We offer Replication at a minimum of 300 for pressed discs.

The choice is usually based upon schedule needs and price.

NOTE: Rush schedules of 5 Days, 3 Days, 1 Day or Same Day will be duplicated
